Our First Visitor!

My mom, Mary, came to visit us in Indiana last week. She was our first visitor, and it was wonderful to see her and have her stay at our house. The only downsides were that she wasn't able to see Ryan (he was back in Philadelphia), and her visit was too short! We had a blast, and it was great to see her! Here are a few pics from her visit.

One Whole Year!

It's hard to believe that we've been married for a year already! It's been a year full of a lot of changes, but it's truly been amazing. It's so easy being married to someone as wonderful as Ryan! We are very, very blessed and look forward to many more years together!

On another note, we have a backlog of blog posts to do. We were in Baltimore last weekend, and my mom came to visit us this past week. More info and pictures to come soon....

We're off to Philadelphia!

Ryan just accepted a six week position in Philadelphia. It starts on Monday, and we're leaving tomorrow! It was just confirmed a few days a ago, so things have been pretty stressful but exciting. I love the city, and I'm really looking forward to living there for the rest of the summer. We'll be staying in a furnished corporate apartment northwest of the city, and we'll post updates after we settle.

Our Fourth of July

We had a great July 4th! We went to Pittsburgh for fireworks, and they were some of the best we have ever seen. In addition to the regular fireworks, they also shoot some from off the top of two buildings downtown. Ryan took this short video below of the fireworks display. Though we had a great time, we still miss spending the holiday with family and friends (especially Ann--Happy Birthday!).
