Josephine's Baptism
Josephine was baptised this past Saturday by Father Juettner, the same priest who married us. It was a beautiful ceremony! Ann and Steve are Jo's godparents, and we were so happy that they could come from Wisconsin to be there! After the baptism we went out for pizza and cake. It was great to be together with family. Jo is so loved by everyone!

Eric and Jennie's Wedding
Eric, Ryan's younger brother, got married this past weekend. It was a beautiful wedding, and Josephine got to meet many relatives from Chicago. It was a very long day for Jo, but she did great!

Two Months Old!
Today you are two months old! Where did the time go? Here are some things about you right now:
- You love to smile! You are very smiley, especially when you are well-rested.
- You love to "talk" and coo! You can hold a conversation with us for quite a while!
- We've figured out that you don't have a dairy allergy, but you do seem to have a sensitivity to dairy. Mommy can eat small amounts of dairy now.
- You still have acid reflux issues. This past week your old symptoms started to come back. Your medicine dosage was adjusted, and now it's under control again.
- You love going places, but you're starting to not like the car too much. As soon as we take you out of the car though, you're fine. This makes long car rides tough, but you almost always fall asleep after a few minutes of fussing/crying.
- Speaking of sleep, you still sleep great at night. This makes Mommy and Daddy so happy! This past week you even slept for an 8.5 hour stretch! But you always sleep for 6-8 hours straight. You only get up once to eat in the night, usually around 6 or 7 am, and then go back to sleep for a few more hours. Your naps are still unpredictable, and you still want to be held for them. We're working on that, but you sleep so good at night that we can't complain. You still sleep in the bassinet in our bedroom, but we plan to start gradually transitioning you to your crib in the next few weeks.
- You wear size newborn clothes, a few 0-3 month things. You are long and skinny! Updated: At your 2 month appointment (which was really at 2.5 months) you were in the 50th percentile for weight and head circumference and 75th percentile for height!
- You are a very happy, sweet baby. You are also very active and interested in everything around you.
- You are so loved by so many people! You have filled our lives with so much joy!
We love you! We are so blessed to have you as our daughter!
